Watson speaks to reporters while back in Athens last year prior to the Nationwide Tour's Stadion Classic at UGA.
Andy Landers' UGA's women's hoops team closed the regular season Sunday with a 62-46 victory over LSU.
And the Lady Bulldogs had a special guest helping make it happen.
PGA Tour star and former UGA golfer Bubba Watson was on hand as a guest assistant coach during the game.
Watson, who also attended the UGA men's team's game Saturday, told Kate Burkholder of UGA Sports Communications before Sunday's game that he spot on Landers' bench had to do with a wager on whether Watson could hit a golf ball out of Sanford Stadium.
"He didn't think I could hit it out of the stadium with a golf ball," Watson said before the game. "I challenged him to a bet. I said he could come to The Masters with me or I could coach one game. So he lost. So here I am coaching. This is a big game for us, so hopefully we pull it out."

Bubba is very close to the UGA women's program, since his wife Angie (formerly Angie Ball) played for Landers from 1996-2000 before beginning her own pro career, which took her to the WNBA and Europe.
Meanwhile, UGA's win Sunday was against a 20-win LSU team.
The Lady Bulldogs are 22-7 and will be the No. 3 seed when they open play late Friday at the SEC tournament in Nashville, Tenn. UGA will face either No. 11 seed Alabama or No. 6 seed South Carolina. The game will be televised by Fox Sports net at roughly 10 p.m. Eastern.

ON THE AGENDA
Georgia's ninth-ranked baseball team improved to 7-0 by sweeping Winthrop this weekend. The Diamond Dogs have been good this year, particularly on the mound, as a weakness from two years ago now appears to be a real strength for the 2012 team.
How long could the streak last?
Well, five more (very winable) home games await this week. Savannah State will be at Foley Foley at 6 p.m. Tuesday, followed by Western Carolina at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Western Illinois visits for the a three-game weekend series before Georgia heads to Coolray Field in Lawrenceville on March 6 for a game against Kennesaw State.
Given such a manageable schedule, Georgia be sitting a 13-0 when No. 22 UCLA arrives for a three-game series in Athens beginning March 9.
