The annual Watch List season for college football awards started Monday with the announcement of 65 members of the preseason watch list for the Maxwell Award (top overall player) and the Bednarik Award (top defensive player).
Among the 65 on the Maxwell list was Georgia QB Aaron Murray, while Georgia DL John Jenkins and LB Jarvis Jones were among 65 listed for the Bednarik.
