The team portion of the NCAA tennis championships being held in Athens ended Tuesday, but that doesn't mean the event is completed.

The individual singles competition for men and women begins at 10 a.m. today. Doubles starts play Thursday.

UGA landed a record five players in the men's field of 64 singles players. The previous high for the team was four in 2007 and 2008.

Meanwhile, two UGA women's singles players are in the draw that starts today, and former NCAA singles champ Chelsey Gullickson was seeded eighth overall.
