Concerns about Georgia's team this season have varied from the offense to defense to special teams and now to quarterback Aaron Murray.
Murray's three interceptions (all in the first half) against Florida led to Mark Richt fielding a question on his Monday night call-in radio show that many other fans had discussed.
Would he consider benching Murray, if only for a series or two?
"I would say if Hutson Mason had already redshirting by now, there's the possibility you could do something like that," said Richt, who basically dismissed the idea entirely beyond that.
"We just don't have a situation where we would even be ... We just don't even think about that," Richt said.
With Mason still hoping to redshirt this season if possible, that leaves walk-on Parker Welch and redshirt freshman Christian LeMay as the next in line behind Murray.
"It's hard to throw anybody into that situation for the first time in your life," Richt said. "So while Murray is getting a break, the other guy might be in there going berserk on you. You've just got to believe in your man, and I definitely believe in Aaron. We all do."
