Dawgs247's 20 for '12: No. 4

Well the top 3 are pretty obvious. Mitchell, Murray and Jarvis Jones. I figured Gilliard would have been 1 of the linebackers but he must of barely missed the cut.

My guess is 3. Mitchell 2. Jarvis 1. Murray, because the QB is the position that has the most impact on the game, even though at their respective positions Jarvis is the better of the two. And our season rides on how well Murray does at eliminating mistakes, there were specific plays that cost us two games last year. His fumble towards the end of the game against SC and his interception for a TD against MSU in the bowl game.

We seem to have a tough time putting teams away when we are in prime position to at the end of a game, thats what we need to work on.

I would say it goes like this:

3. Jarvis
2. Murray
1. Mitchell - Because of his pivatal need at CB in Missouri game with all the suspensions.

Jenkins is #2 on my list. And he's close to #1.
He's the difference between our 2010 defense and 2011 defense.
Not only does he clog the middle, but he makes plays.

Its one thing for a guy to command a double team. Its another thing for that guy to put his name on the stat sheet.
Jenkins is that good. If he stays healthy, he's a first round draft pick at a position that is very difficult to make a name for himself.
