Safety Marc Deas, who left Georgia's team on March 30 in search of a transfer, has asked to return to the Bulldogs and been accepted back, according to his father.
"They accepted him back. ... He was at the team meeting last night, and he'll be back at practice today," said Ira Deas.
Marc Deas informed Mark Richt on March 30 that he was leaving in search of playing time. He remained in classes, however, at UGA with plans of finishing out the semester.
"Basically, he was just missing his teammates and the camaraderie and playing football," Ira Deas said. " ... Kids grow up and they learn and they improve and accept their role."
