Sad to say but until Bama quits winning national championships kids are still going to want to go there. Its a great football program. If UGA was a perennial national title contender and winning rings, and always number 1, kids would be flocking here. Hopefully we can play them in the SECCG and beat em to flip the script.

I agree that AL will lead for a lot of recruits the way Saban runs his program and the simple fact that they keep winning, and winning big. Let's not lose site of the progress UGA has made in the last few years. Last years recruiting class is quickly becoming one of my favorites I can remember. Seems to me that ever since Grantham has come on board, top defensive players want to play for him. He will have the Dawgs in contention with top recruits on that side of the ball as long as he's on our sideline! And our offense looks outstanding. Dennis Dodd has Murray as #3 on his Heisman board. This is shaping up to be a special year, and special years bring along special recruits.

You guys are concentrating to much on the winning at Bama. What kids really see is if they are a high ranked kid they can get drafted very high in 3 years after being coached up at Bama because every year they see bama players get drafted and get drafted in the first couple of rounds.
Look at all the RB's committing to play there. They all think they are as good as Ingram and Richardson because Kirby tells them so. But we all know they are all not going to be spot lighted and drafted like Ingram and Richardson. Still, if your a high school star at RB where would you like to run at?
Our staff has not only recruited better but evaluated better. I thought it was imperative to CMR's staff to get NFL experience on there. I still wish we could get an NFL guy on the offensive side of the ball somewhere.
I will stop with this,I'm just as happy with a 3 star if the coaches have truly scouted him correctly. We probably have more 3 star kids in the NFL from Georgia (the state) then 4 and 5 star kids.
