I'd hate to say the worm has turned in this series, we have another couple of years to go before we can say that, but this game had the 1985 feel. F highly ranked, us not so much, and we took it to them with Keith Henderson & Tim Worley and a great defensive effort. In the last 20 years, I've had to watch really great Georgia teams go to Jacksonville and then find a way to lose. But, the result yesterday seems to indicate that it was the gators that found the way to lose...karma.

G, great article. I always believed we were much better than we showed. I believe in my Dawgs and it will continue for the rest of the season and more! No I dont drink Kool aid, I just believe in my Dawgs! GO DAWGS!

Great write up G, I was in cell phone hell for most of yesterday, so this is the first thread I've read in a while. I was so impressed with the defense and Shawn Williams led by example for the most part. His huge stop on that early Fourth down play was huge.

I'll add this, as you mention many people will talk about UF's mistakes, but UGA made almost as many.
Murray was ineffective for 50 minutes in this game. He accuracy was off and he looked tentative and unsure of himself much of the game, but...
he lead his team on a late 4th qtr TD drive to secure the win in his biggest game as UGA's QB.
What is the potential of this team if we play up to our potential on both sides of the ball? Pretty scary to think about.

Great article, G. I was wrong too and gladly admit it. I was afraid we would see the same thing we saw against Spurrier. But the D came to play yesterday and did so for the entirety of the game.
Now they have to figure out a way to get motivated to play their hearts out each week.

Good article. I did forecast a win for us before the game. If we can keep this intensity up there is no telling to what they can acomplish.
