for some you X and O guru's, does facing two triple option teams back to back, that runs 95% of the time help us in any way against the run? Tackling fundamentals?? I'm just trying to find a positive about playing those games.

It is a focus on fundamentals.
We had a lot of missed tackles (despite our success). We've go to keep grinding on the fundamentals. Highlight reel hits don't matter if we let a Bama back slip through on a key first down.

noticed this too. a lot thudding. we're not going to thud eddy lacy or yeldon.

The absolute focus and discipline you need to have can carry over prep wise and into this game. I think one of our players was quoted as saying that we are in better condition now than we were prior to the last two weeks because of the discipline and physical work we had to put in for the last two. This has carry over.
