I still think we are the Second Team from the SEC and the Sugar should have to take us. We shouldn't get penalized for losing the SECCG and any one should see that.

I would much rather have the Cotton over the others. Only game that day and it is in primetime. Looks like Oklahoma might end up here if things fall a certian way. A win over them would be considered a big win. A win over Nebraska or Northwestern would not

Same here. We've been talking about how much we'd love to have a bowl matchup between the Dawgs and Huskers for years. If this is the selection, we'll be making the trip, no doubt.

We left it all on the field yesterday, but we have a good chunk of time uuntil our bowl game. We will want to send these seniors, and the players who are most likely leaving for the draft out on a high note. We will come out firing on all cylinders. I wouldn't be suprised if we rout our competition.

Florida is going to the Sugar that for sure. But seriously ... Nebraska? That team that just gave up 70 points to Wisconsin? Snore.... Please dont make us play Nebraska. Id love to see us play a team like Texas or something if we aren't going to play in the Sugar. Im tired of playing Big10 teams period. I don't see how we can be moved out of #3 in the BCS either... We played the #2 team and we came as close to winning as is even possible... isnt that exactly how the #3 team shouldve played? Are you saying the other teams wouldve played them closer?

Why the Huskers this year though? They arent any good ... we deserve somebody better than a team that just game up 70 points in their conference championship game.

I just hope which ever bowl we go to we play somebody worth playing. I dont wanna play a team like Northwestern. Like the year we played Hawaii. Yeah UF get to go to the Sugar Bowl but they play Louisville. I wouldve liked to play Oklahoma in the Cotton but if we get chosen for the Cap One i guess Nebraska would be ok. I know we would probably win in dominating fashion but its better than playing a team going into you KNOW your gonna blow out.

The last time the Dawgs played Nebraska was in the 1969 Sun Bowl. They drubbed us 45-6. That year we won 5 games, and tied Tennessee, 13-13. We also lost to Florida, Auburn, and Tech. A little revenge would be nice.

Dont get caught up in that 70 number. Thats all we will hear for a month and if we score 35 we will be shell shocked over what happened. We should be fine but just don't think they give up 70 every game.

I'm just glad we won't be playing Northwestern. Would THAT be a crappy consolation prize. At least we'll have some juice in the brand name of the opponent, if nothing else. Honestly though, I would rather have played in the Cotton Bowl versus Texas.

We shouldn’t get penalized for losing arguably the best SEC Championship game ever played. We should get a BCS Bowl but that won’t happen. Its BS IMO.
