I cant wait. I believe most of these kids are hungry and will play better than the line last year. The linebackers have to step up as well as the secondary. I feel like we will do well this year!

it should be fun to watch how this plays out.
I expect good things from Ray Drew. the question is how versatile will he be? Will he be able to be a weapon like Abry Jones (move around the line and extremely effective in stunts).
I'm excited to see what he can do in his third year.

Garrison Smith by far my fav dawg on DL and wasn't utilized enough early last year in my opinion.
I was abit worried when we didn't get MA but he might have had trouble getting into the line up with these guys go dawgs!!!

Sat in on a coaching clinc of Chris Wilson this weekend and we got a really good coach and guy. I was skeptic previously but not anymore. Glad we got him

Hopefully new coach, new aggressive attitude; I do worry though... we look pretty thin at DE, especially if thornton wins at NT (although he is pretty light to be in the middle). One injury or two and we could be looking at rotating in a walk on....amazing some of the DL recruits didn't look at that and see more of an opportunity

7 guys to cover 3 spots (2 spots in the nickel package).
None of them are true freshmen.
I think we'll be fine with our depth.
The question is how great can our top end rotation get and how long will it take to get there?

Hopefully we use the spring to identify the players from what we have and once the reinforcements arrive this summer we will be able to put together a defensive unit that represents our best eleven and not just the eleven best.
