Georgia's 2012 DawgNight festivites opened up Friday with a commitment from a 2013 safety.
Kell (Ga.) High School prospect Quincy Mauger confirmed to Dawgs247's Rusty Mansell that he has committed to UGA while in Athens for DawgNight.
The 6-foot, 195-pound Mauger is a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports, and he becomes Georgia's 20th commitment toward its 2013 signing class.
Mauger, who had offers from Iowa State, Navy and others, received an offer from UGA after a strong performance last month at the Mark Richt Camp in Athens. He is close friends with another 2013 defensive back prospect in Brendan Langley, and the two have said they plan to play together in college.
