Soon after releasing the names of 19 current Penn State players that UGA informed Penn State on Monday about an intent to contact, Mark Richt squelched the story Friday afternoon.
In a prepared statement released by UGA, Richt confirmed that the Bulldogs are not "currently" pursuing any Penn State players for transfer before next season.
"Currently, Georgia is not pursuing any of Penn State's football players," Richt said. "We wish Coach O'Brien and the players the best."
