Georgia has landed a quarterback for the 2014 class after all.
Completing a whirlwind recent courtship that featured a camp visit and scholarship offer in the past week, quarterback Jacob Park of Goose Creek, S.C., committed to the Bulldogs on Friday, his father and high school coach confirmed to 247Sports.
Park's addition brings Georgia's '14 commitment total now to 10 and continues the Bulldogs' recent hot streak. Park is the fifth commitment in the past week.
The 6-foot-3, 202-pound Park is a four-star prospect rated by 247Sports as the nation's No. 8 overall pro-style quarterback and No. 139 overall prospect. After some strong camp showings this summer, his stock is likely to continue to rise in recruiting circles.
He chose Georgia over Alabama, Virginia Tech and a host of other interested schools.
