    With another Signing Day now behind us, Rusty and I wanted to take time now to thank everyone for their support. Dawgs247 has grown by leaps and bounds during these past few months, well beyond our own expectations. Each of you has helped make that happen because of your contributions to The Junkyard and support of the site.

    While we're happy with where we are, we also want you to know that the work we're doing here will not slow down now that Signing Day is concluded.

    In the weeks leading up to spring practice, you'll see the same coverage you've grown to expect from us, be it Rusty's insider looks and stories for 2013 on what looks to be one of the finest classes the state of Georgia has produced, pre-spring position primers on UGA's current team, updates on winter drills and conditioning, Pro Day coverage prior to the NFL Draft, columns, features, Q&As and other daily coverage of all things UGA.

    As a network, 247Sports is also committed to building and improving our platform beyond what currently exists. Already we have redesigned the prospect database and upgraded the mobile site to be the industry's finest. You can look for similar technological enhancements to enacted in the coming months.

    Some of you have known about us for a while. Others are only getting to know us now. But this network and this site each has a lot of momentum moving forward, and it's a great time to be a part what we're building here.

    We plan to sustain that well into the future and hope each of you will continue to choose to join us.

  • With the growth of this site, do y'all see a message board strictly for VIPers? I'm asking bc although I love the Junkyard, it gets pretty hectic at times trying to sort out all the threads.

    The idea of having a message board where a lot of material is free for non-subscribers has been big for our site.

    However, we've had discussions with the home base about this being added at some point in the future as we continue to grow. I don't know how soon it will be just yet, but I'll keep you updated.

  • You guys have done a stellar job, and I absolutely LOVE the new recruit database. It just works. I stayed on board all through the year in 2011, and I plan on being here all year this year as well. You guys work hard to give us subscribers our money's worth, and that's something I respect.

    The insightful comments of VIP posters is part of my enjoyment in being a member of Dawgs247. I think I'd like such a section.

    This is just my opinion, and it might not be worth beans, but I think if you expand the free part of the site, you will end up getting the kind of riff raff commenting and throwing around stupid comments, like they do at the AJC. Dedicated fans of UGA will support the 247 monetarily, and I think that is good.
