The sad thing about the Deas transfer... we don't have any DBs left from that 2010 signing class. Ogletree moved down closer to the line of scrimmage. But Deas would have been the only player from that class able to offer upper-classman leadership to the other DBs out there.

It sounds like Connor Norman was offering that leadership, anyway.
But it stinks when we go through an entire draft class striking out at a couple of positions like this.

Connor Norman is probably our scholarship fall back depth player who, I think, was ahead of Deas on the depth chart anyway. Norman did play some good fill-in ball last year.

That, and with the DBs upcoming, Deas probably saw the light and realized he wouldn't see much PT next year. But in my opinion, he shoulda stuck it out!

Shame, considering he was only one injury away from significant PT! That's something these players often don't see until after they're gone.
