Hello from Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, S.C., where I've made the drive to be with the UGA basketball team for tonight's game against South Carolina, which is about 40 minutes away.
The game is being televised by CSS, but I know many of you don't get that channel (I don't either), so I'll be here with live updates throughout the game on this thread ... and we'll also have the usual postgame review for you.

There is hardly anyone here for this game.
I mean it ... VERY sparse
Stegeman outdoes this regularly. Feels like a late-season NBA game.

The Gamecocks already have almost as many points as the nine they had in the first half the last time the Bulldogs were here. Malik Cooke with 5 of them so far for USC. Thornton and Florevus with early buckets for UGA, which has been going inside a little more.

Sloppy, ugly game so far. Not much in the way of good offensive basketball. Gamecocks frustrating the Bulldogs a bit with a 2-3 zone to start with.

The offense looks much better then it did earlier in the season, maybe its because we're playing usce. Not saying it's where it needs to be but I remember watching us vs. Cal and we didn't have a clue...

Game plodding along toward halftime. The Gamecocks went on a 9-0 run to match what the Dogs had managed early. Biggest storyline for UGA right now may be that USC has kept KCP off the board. No points so far for Dogs' leading scorer.
