Can I ask you guys a serious question and I pinky promise this is not a flame or troll.
While I completely understand that Garcia had more than 1 alcohol violation over his 5 years. Like Murray, he was a college kid who drank but was ridiculed for 3-4 of his suspensions being alcohol related. One of his suspensions was for sitting on the front lawn of a fraternity house drinking a beer with his brother and campus police pulled up and asked for his id.
What made you guys bash Spurrier so hard for his # of alcohol related suspensions of Garcia and allowing him to return to the team? Both him and Murray were underage when caught drinking though Murray's obviously was on photo and not while on Georgia's campus. Spurrier pulled a "indefinite" suspension on Garcia for a few of his underage drinking episodes. I'm reading where you guys are saying "no big deal".
I'm being 100% serious here. I would like to know your honest opinion on this. FWIW, I completely agree that it is NO BIG DEAL. To ask a college kid to not drink and/or suspend him for underage drinking is ridiculous. I sincerely hope nothing comes of this, which I truly doubt it will. Kid was out having fun, let him enjoy his college experience.

OK. Just for fun and to refresh some memories, lets go over the public matters that Garcia got suspended for and then compare them to Murray's 'transgressions':
1. Garcia was arrested for pulic intoxication.
2. Garcia was arrested for keying a professors car, and later amitted being intoxicated when it happened.
3. Garcia was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol (which was his 3rd arrest in just over a year). Later the SAME NIGHT, police came to Garcia's dorm room because he had falsely pulled a fire alarm.
4. Garcia gets TANKED and violates curfew during bowl week in ATL, two nights prior to the game.
5. Garcia shows up intoxicated to a 'Life-skills' seminar (this one even made me say 'WOW').
6. Garcia fails a random, school mandated alcohol test, which was a part of conditional re-instatement to the University. Now for Murray:
1. While on Spring Break at the beach, Murray was shown on a YouTube video throwing a football at another spring breaker, attempting to knock a beer can off the dude's head. I am willing to assume that Murray was intoxicated (or on his way there) at this time.
2. Murray was photographed with a beer and wearing an FSU shirt while posing with a shirtless dude when attending an FSU game.
Now you ask, "why is the critism more harsh?". Well, first off, for the latest 'incident' with Murray, he was a 21 year old college student drinking a beer at a tailgate. The worst thing he did was pose with a former GaTech player who wasn't wearing a shirt.
Also, here are a few more reasons:
He was not, nor has he been, arrested.
He was not causing a scene or keying cars.
He wasn't pulling fire alarms.
It wasn't the week of a game.
He wasn't hammered at a school sponsored event.Guess that ought to do it...

Name calling isn't very nice. I've had NUMEROUS civil and respectful posts/discussions on this board. The michigan state thing was an inside joke/offer by them. On the florida board, all I asked them to do was beat georgia for south carolian's hope of getting to SECCG. 1 poster on their board took the thread the wrong way, he was corrected by a few gators and said poster pm'ed me apologizing for his post and misunderstanding. You're mistaken.

You have to admit that comparing Murray's antics to Garcia's was not a flattering display of your reasoning skills.
I understand your desire to see Florida win. What I do not understand is your fraternization with Michigan State fans.
Keep this in mind.....
The SCU defense is better than the FU defense. We lit y'all up like the front porch of a Spartanburg single wide at Christmas time. Look for the same thing to happen to FU.
Time to head on over to the Awbun board and ask for their help.

I'm afraid you missed the point entirely.
436 yards of offense on the most awesomest defense east of Athens. And thats not counting the 216 return yards we added for good measure. Do the math, broseph.
Single wide. Christmas. Spartanburg.
Like I said, time to head on over to Awbun Undercover.
