1- Tree- head and shoulders above the field as FS posted
2- Washington- big guy who delivers a thump
3- Williams- got to love the way he plays, attitude is exactly what you want from your safety
4- -Hererra- was very good as a true freshman, can't wait to see him on the field next year. I think he starts beside tree from game 1 and plays BIG!
5- Rambo-/ Jarvis jones. Hard to choose here, could go either way.

I agree with a lot of the players listed above, and as far as Alec is concerned, I think he is the surest tackler we have, but maybe not the hardest hitter. Here are the 5 guys that made me say "DAYUM" this past season (which is my scientific way to rank them :)
5. Amarlo Hererra- when this kid squares his shoulders and gets low, RBs remember.
4. Cootie Harrow- he has the advantage of running full speed when he hits, but he always brings the thunder.
3. Alec Ogletree- best and surest tackler on the team; when he hits people, they go backwards.
2. Jarvis Jones- Brantley still has nightmares because of him.
1. Shawn Williams- head hunter. You go over the middle, be prepared for the BOOM
I would really like to hear G's take on this, since he gets to see them in action during practice and get the players reactions in the locker room. Great topic.

great topic. agree with what everyone has said but on a per lb. basis, boykin deserves some props. that stick on mccalebb in the flat and the safety in the bowl game are great examples of how tough and physical he could be.

Hopefully it's not too late to add a comment to this thread on 'Heavy Hitters'.
I would like to re-post some of my comments from yesterday on our 'Fastest Players Thread' and input the information on BLAKE SAILORS!
"I make it a point to keep my binoculars trained on # 5 on our KOs.
Blake Sailors can really motor and takes pride in being the first downfield to try and make the tackle.
And if he doesn't, you can bet that he stays in his assigned lane and busts somebody, and hits them hard.
Unless Blake is injured, I look to see him on every UGA kickoff.
Kid can fly and will knock somebody down; just loves punishing somebody.
Blake is every return man's nightmare! Love this kid's attitude. A true JYD on KOs!"
In my opinion, one of UGA's heaviest hitters for the plays he's in on!
Make sure you follow Blake on KO's next season to see what I'm talking about.
