so much for "just trust the coaches".

I have been feeling for some time now that THIS season coming up is our time. We could take it all the way. With the D coming back, and the weapons on offense we have, added with our schedule. AM would have to step it up and have a Heisman finalist type year, but he is more than capable of that IMO. We lose a lot of big time playmakers next year to the draft. So why not get it done now? Anything short of an SEC East crown is completely unacceptable this year. I will be in both Columbia's this fall supporting the team on the road. Sorry I'm ranting guys, I just feel that we can win it NOW!

If you get your alottment or at least close to it on signing day then it helps prevent alot of these unforseen issues..Thats why Bama and others are winning championships...I understand alot of these programs just throw out offers,, but if we are going to improve our depth issues...and yes it is and has been a problem, regardless of how you spin it, then w have got to get some recruits in here when we have the numbers....This year we had the numbers and while we did get a very good class, we left schollies on the table...Now perhaps there are some things going on behid the scenes, but according to Rusty we are not looking to add any others...This is a very talented team and yes we did address certain areas that really needed some de pth added, however, we are still very much in need of o-line help and and db help...I'm looking at this thing two years ahead...Don't get me wrong, I I think our coaches have worked their tails off and they know the problem also, but it seems to be the same thing every year, our lack of dpth seems to be holding us back from taking that next step....go dawgs

Y'all are worrying about something way too far in advance. Like others have said, a couple JUCO recruits will fit the bill.

Im not trying to harp on anything and its a situation that is obviously out of my control but I dont think this is something to take lightly.

Youre right, we could add JUCO help or even add 8 high school DB's next year to fill the void but to enter 2013 with only 6 total DB's that are not freshmen or first year guys at UGA isnt good at all.

Look at Tennessee, they needed help at LB badly last year, they did great in recruiting last year and landed AJ Johnson and Curtis Maggett-- The issue is they were both thrust into the starting line up due to lack of depth. Now these kids may be great in 2 more years but the real issue is look at their results last year with them as their starters (obviously this is just to illustrate the point. I realize TN has a lot more issues than just LB depth but I think you can see my point).

And outside of Swann, Dawson and Moore im not to sure you could really say the other guys are going to do much. The other three guys on that list arent sure fire prospects.
