    Reservoir Dawg, trust us we know. Many over here are here for many of the same reasons. It is a shame about Chad, because like you I liked his recruiting's posts and videos a whole lot.

    We get so much more from Rusty here like evaluations, study of films and camp/high school visits. Like I said before, these two guys do an amazing job and if we can get the membership who knows the great things that await us in the future.

  • I think these opinions should serve as advance warning to the guys that run this site as it grows. I agree that the others have a lot of childish banter and that's not what I look for in a uga site. I expect it from rivals but its silly for us to get personal amongst dawg fans. Hopefully as more people discover this site you can have the clarity to identify and the strength to remove those who are determined to turn this into another dawgvent. I would like the focus here to be on dignified and civilized discussion and hope that never changes, even if it means taking a hard stance against those who undermine it.

I am currently a member of all three sites and will be going down to just 1 in february (dawg247) when I cancel the year subscriptions i purchased. The one thing I do enjoy is the DawgPost magazines that Dean puts out. They are a very good read and I love the photos.

    Regarding ugasports I have been a member for more than 6 years now and that site has deteriorated and it's a shell of what it used to be. Yes there is a lot of activity, but it's the wrong type IMO. You can't post a positive thing on there without being torn apart. The lack of mutual respect shown is ridiculous. Minimono is as you said a teenager and yet posts with more maturity than most on that board and it's quite sad to be frank. The treatment is something that is not handled by the site operator and his staff and as you said people are told to just deal with it. That is not how you run a site imo.

    Gentry and Rusty are doing a terrific job with this site.

    You hit another point, and much more succinctly than I could, that I danced around but never mentioned. You are 100% correct when you note that you can't post anything positive over there. The Dawgvent endorses, by their refusal to take any measures to stop it, the repeated attacks on anyone who has the nerve to have an optimistic outlook regarding UGA.

    I have no idea why a site for fans allows that to occur. I think the administrators feel as though curbing those types of confrontations would limit rational debate on topics. I think that is 100% wrong. Ending the personal attacks, childish behavior, or seeming support for other schools (Richt sucks, Saban does it differently/etc), does not stop discourse, it merely encourages a higher level of discourse.

    Enjoy articles here and info but I'm staying because this site just has a good vibe to it. It makes me feel good about rooting for our team and our coaches.

    I remember when this board would have hardly any traffic so that is going in good direction fast. I also hope we're able to keep the same positive nature of the site though. That above anything.
