Justin Houston was left off of preseason lists his junior season.
And he goes on to lead the SEC in sacks during the regular season.

Preseason lists are pointless from a prediction standpoint.
They have about as much merit as preseason rankings (ie. none).

I wouldn't sweat them.
The best recommendation I can make is to pay attention to the players who we will face on our schedule. It's a neat little trick to find out who you want to key on during the regular season.
Especially if our preseason guy lines up toe to toe against another teams preseason guy.
That's a football orgasm right there.
