I love how Mizzou fans think that James Franklin is going to pick us apart. Good luck on their OL keeping our defense out of their backfield. It's hard to throw an accurate pass while on your back.

Majority of UGA fans (including myself) didn't think Boise stood a chance. I got surprised last year as most of us. Until that game is over and we put another W on that date, I'm not granting myself a win. IMO we are better then any team we will play this year, but how many **better teams on paper have been upset on any given saturday?

I just watched a replay of the Mizzou/UNC bowl game. Franklin is a stud athlete. I was extremely impressed. Their offense is explosive and hard to predict.
The thing that UNC couldn't do was consistently get a push into the backfield with the DL, didn't have super athletic LBs flying around and their DBs didn't press cover.
It's going to be one helluva tough game.

"If you just walked out there and didn't know he had surgery, you wouldn't think anything was up," said Mizzou coach Gary Pinkel according St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "You kind of marvel at him. He's obviously a remarkable athlete to do what he's doing after that surgery.
Let's see how that shoulder feels after throwing a thousand balls in camp.

Yes, they also were missing a number of players, although I'd forgotten the reason. Uncertainty abounded, imo, making me very uncertain of the result (in advance).

I understand where your coming from furrier, but most of the online portion I saw from other dawg fans was online. Majority of people I talked to face to face actually had concerns about that particular game. I not only hope we win, but I hope its by a big margin to really get everyone's attention. Thanks for the discussion tho.
