So the more experienced Vincent Williams is starting ahead of Charles Mann.
That may have to do with Texas A&M having a freshman at point guard.
Georgia 5, Texas A&M 4
Slow start for both teams on the offensive end and some physical play already ... Dawgs have hit five FTs already
Georgia 7, Texas A&M 6
Georgia didn't get its first field goal of the game until the 12:48 mark on a tip-in by John Cannon. Dawgs having a lot of trouble getting anything productive offensively, as several possessions have just had the shot clock wind down and the point guard hoist up a bad shot. Kenny Gaines and Cannon off the bench early.
Georgia 10, Texas A&M 6
Aggies having just as much trouble offensively. Steal by Mann and nice pass to KCP sets up an easy bucket.

There was no reason to keep talking about KCP on the rim. That was not close to a tech. Defense looks solid so far
God needs a Safety on His team. RIP 21
Georgia 14, Texas A&M 12
Georgia getting it done on the defensive end, creating turnovers to set up buckets. Steal and slam by KCP was part of a 12-2 run. Turner finally hits a 3 to break a lengthy drought for Aggies and they then add another one (3-3 from 3 so far). Dawgs' offense still struggling mightily in the half-court.
Georgia 19, Texas A&M 17
Announcers are fawning over a good showdown between KCP and Elston Turner. KCP has played real well so far, even by his standards
Georgia 25, Texas A&M 17
KCP with a 3-point bomb to force an A&M timeout. He's got 12 points already.
Aggies have eight team fouls (UGA with 6), and Dawgs have shot 14 free throws so far, making 11. Aggies already have seven turnovers and Dawgs are doing well in the rebounding battle.
Keep it up Dawgs. This wont be like the UF game, aTm isn't efficient enough to just blow past us in the 2nd half if we keep the defense up.
I am going to post on this thread so you don't feel lonely G. Me and you must be the only ones watching the game.
"HOW BOUT THEM DAWGS"
Georgia 27, Texas A&M 19
UGA had a 10-point lead and the ball but lost a turnover that led to a lay-up on the other end. Mark Fox calls a timeout to keep things from getting too sloppy.
Fox better coach like his job depends on it.
Georgia 27, Texas A&M 23
Well, Georgia played well defensively for much of that half and has the lead, but A&M has the momentum thanks to a little 6-0 spurt in the final minutes of the half that were aided by UGA turnovers.
Not a bad half for UGA, though, on the road.
KCP has 12
A&M's Turner has 11
not so much
Yeah I didn't see your post until after I posted mine. So we have 3 now.
its been like that all year. Its been G, AllHail and myself in the majority of the threads
so many nonchalant passes...ridiculous.
best 2 minutes of play out of us i've seen this year.
Georgia 38, Texas A&M 27
Dawgs reversing trend of poor second half starts with a nice stretch out of the break here. KCP now 3-4 from 3-point range and has 15 points.
brantley's best game ever as a dawg....
Sherrard Brantley has it going from 3 for the first time in a while. UGA has stretched lead to 41-27
come on dawgs!!!!!!
Georgia 43, Texas A&M 27
Dawgs playing real well, have the Aggies on the ropes.
KCP with some serious effort
