Just getting started here with executive session ...
Mark Richt in attendance to shake hands beforehand. He is in great spirits, looks good and is moving around without crutches.
Michael Adams presiding. Incoming president Jere Morehead here as well.

Quick financial note ...
Athletics revenues are $3 million higher compared to this time last year. Most of that is because of an increase in football ticket revenue from $18.3 million in Dec. 11 to $21.2 million in Dec. 12.
Born and bred Bulldog, living in Maryland since '88
If you're curious, overall GPA for all UGA athletes in fall semester was 2.96.
Best sport: Women's tennis -- 3.61
Lowest sport: Men's basketball -- 2.29
Football was 2.714.
Executive board meeting now. Full board meets at 5 p.m.
We're in the coaches' meeting room at Butts-Mehre building -- right outside of Richt's office. It's kind of funny because they have depth charts and recruiting boards all over this room, and they've put up large photos of past Georgia players to cover all that.
Executive board now into executive session (which means they kick us media types out) to discuss "one personnel matter," according to Adams.
Back into the meeting now. Adams reports that executive session was to hear a report from president and AD on "one particular contract matter."
"No action was taken by this board at this time," Adams said.
Possibly. Could be Richt too.
Full board meeting getting started now. OL Chris Burnette is here as one of two student-athlete reps. Gymnast Noel Couch is the other.
Burnette has a sling on his left shoulder. Remember he underwent surgery that will take him out of spring ball.
Well, this is awkward ...
The big board meeting is going on in the multi-purpose turf room, which is directly beside the weight room ... and football players are now in there.
So you've got Malcolm Mitchell (and others) interested in what's going on in here.
Jeff Schultz tweet ...
Pretty sure nobody on board wants to go over there and tell strength coach Tereshinski to tell players to hold it down.
So this is interesting ...
UGA is now proposing to cut football student ticket allotment for students from 18K to 16K. Those extra 2K will go to young alumni, graduates apart five years or less, who can purchase season tickets at a regular price without donations.
Per McGarity the average number of tickets per game used by students was about 11,800 out of allotment of roughly 18,000.
"Needless to say, this has been a hole in our stadium. We've sold tickets to our students, but they've not shown up," McGarity said.
McGarity says they're replacing the surfaces on the two football practice fields sometime in 2014.
This was approved FYI
Executive session was to approve a raise for Richt. This is now done, taking base salary up $400K to $3.2 million. Another year added to deal as well.
More to come ...
McGarity says talks still ongoing about assistant raises. He did say he expects a contract adjustment for Bobo and a multi-year deal could be possible.
Create the DEMAND and their butts will show up and ON time.
Will these be general admission tix? or will 2 people have the same seat? (Yes, I'm aware that no one sits in their actual seat in the student section)
