ATHENS --- University of Georgia junior split end Malcolm Mitchell will undergo a knee arthroscopy on Friday morning at St. Mary’s Hospital for a torn meniscus.
Mitchell, a native of Valdosta, sustained the injury to his right knee in the Bulldogs’ scrimmage last Saturday. According to UGA Director of Sports Medicine Ron Courson, Mitchell will miss the remainder of spring practice, but is expected to make a full recovery by the team’s preseason camp in August.

Dawgs on Top!
I have had 3 of them. 1st one was age 37 and I was back running and shooting hoops in 3 weeks. Depending on the age, they often take the tear out instead of repairing it. When it happens with an ACL, they usually repair it. I have had 3 and they took mine out so I am missing parts of my knee basically. I wear a sleeve or a neoprene brace when I run now to reduce the swelling.
I bet they actually fix his and this will take longer to heal

Art Schlichter's cellmates and Mo Clarett's rugby team believe Ohio State always does things honestly.....
There's also two in each knee..Depends on which one it is-Outer-inner..They will probably repair it, but there's absolutely NO need to rush him back..He'll be fine in time for the season unless he has a reoccurrence..
I hate injuries! Recover quick MM.
6 weeks max probably back by June 1st
