Bit of breaking news from the Athens Banner-Herald, who has discovered that Chase Vasser was arrested in May in Atlanta on a charge of driving under the influence.
A DUI charge carries an automatic two-game suspension, per UGA Athletics Association Policy.
Here's the Banner-Herald's story ...

Ain't that a pip. If it weren't for bad luck we'd have no luck at all.
Well this sure flew under the radar.
I've now gotten independent confirmation from UGA about this.
Story here ...
Don't know how the Red&Black and Atlanta fishrag missed out on this story. They usually never miss a negative UGA story. They'll make up for it now though, for sure. Cue the Schultz "Richt has lost control of his team" article in 3...2....1....
The coaches have tried just about everything to get the point across.
The only thing I can think of left is team punishments. Run em all till they puke. This type of behavior is hurting the team and program. Hammer that point across by makinjg grown boys hate life.
Whatever Richt and staff is doing discipline wise isn't working. Someone needs to be brouoght in that the players have more respect for and better young men need to be recruited to the university. Enough is enough.
This is so true.
How I would love to have a program like BAMA where if a kid gets pulled over by the police, they call Coach Saban who handles the discipl...... oh wait. That means that the players don't fear Saban if they are getting pulled over. Ooops.
Well, a better example is kids at BAMA don't fear their coach and respect their players cause no one at BAMA would steal from their teamma....... oh wait. That happeneds last year with a couple freshmen and a knife fight ensued.
Man, another bad example.
Wait, I know. Let's get rid of CMR cause we don't like him and he's a Christian so that must mean he's soft and weak and he just doesn't win cause he doesn't get angry or do the things we want him to do... Yeah, that's better.
(And yes, I can give examples for EVERY other school in the SEC, including VANDY, but I thought it appropriate to use BAMA since that seems to be the benchmark for the "Hate CMR" crowd.

Art Schlichter's cellmates and Mo Clarett's rugby team believe Ohio State always does things honestly.....
