Coach Mark Richt had his hip replacement surgery Saturday, a team spokesman has confirmed. He said Richt is in good condition following the procedure.
Looks like Richt's Signing Day press conference Wednesday is still on as planned.
Richt had said this window would probably be when he would have the surgery so he could recover before spring practice.

I had my left hip replace in 1994 and it hurt like hell. They had me up and walking too, the next day, but it was almost 2 months before I could walk without a walker or crutches. If he makes it to signing day on Wednesday I would be very surprised. More likely he'll be laying on his couch in a demerol daze.
Praying for Coach Richt
