It is amazing the amount of future NFL talent we had on the 08 Dawgs. Most remember Stafford, Moreno, and Green but we had NFL talent on offense, defense, and special teams in 08. Geno Atkins has already made the Pro Bowl, and is among the best DT's in the NFL. Justin Houston could be a future Pro Bowler too. No telling how many eventual NFL Pro Bowlers were on that team.
Matthew Stafford might of been the biggest Pro Bowl snub of all time in 2012. AJ Green was the first rookie WR to make the Pro Bowl since Anquan Boldin. Looking at the 08 offensive line we actually have two NFL starters in Glenn (injured), and Boling. Ben Jones might be a starter for the Texans this week too. Trenton Sturdivamt probably had more potential than any of them though. If not for injuries he could be an elite NFL LT right now.
Btw this post isn't meant to be a "look at how much talent we had, and didn't win it all" type post. There were quite a few key injuries, and I don't think any Willie Martinez led defense could win a National Championship.

Tyson, Boykin, and Butler weren't big time contributors in 08 but I included them because they did play. Some of these players are on NFL practice squads currently.
This isn't accounting for some players that might of been signed by a team but didn't make it like Jeff Owens (drafted), Caleb King, Bryan Evans, Michael Moore, Marcus Dowtin, Brannan Southerland, Tripp Chandler.
