What do you guys think. Can they stay hungry? Looking at their 2013 class. Only 6 recruits on defense and only one of those are on the Dline. Did they put all their eggs in RNs and MAs basket? May be its time for Saban to focus on what has made him the top coach in college football ( defense ) and stop trying to stockpile RBs
it will be interesting to watch. it's extremely difficult to sustain the level of success they've had over the last 5 years, and saban has never stayed put anywhere long enough to see how robust "the process" is over time.
having said that, when i look at 2014 i don't see anyone that is obviously better than they are. as long as they keep recruiting as well as they are, i don't see any way that they don't stay at or near the top of the conference.

The Empire Strikes Back Like A GURLEY Man
Saban and Bama have made their mark. We came close to beating them. I have said it before and I'm saying it again, it's us and them. Everyone else is a step below.
We proved that we have closed the gap. We need to keep doing what we are doing and continue to improve in every area of our program.
We need to realize that we just completed year 2 of a totally revamped S&C program, nutrition program and speed coach program(Armstrong). We saw the benefits but guys who have been in it for two years should really see marked improvement in year 3. That's most of our OL, our WR's like Mitchell and TE's like Lynch.
The future is bright if our staff will stay the course and NEVER stop trying to get better
Art Schlichter's cellmates and Mo Clarett's rugby team believe Ohio State always does things honestly.....
With Saban at the helm Bama will not lose focus. I actually worry more about the Dawgs losing focus.
But CTG balances CMR well. And the senior leadership of AM and the business attitude of Gurshall should keep this from happening.
Do we really have to wait until August?
ya'll will have another great team. i have great respect for georgia. there are so many great teams in our conference we are constantly beating each other up. next year texas a&m, lsu, bama, georgia, south carolina, and florida all look tuff but you better be ready for everybody in this conference. hoping georgia has a great 2013 season!
