Cant believe Max Jean wasnt on everybodys list
Pulpwood Smith and Moonpie Wilson...just because I like their names.
Dang, He was one of my favorite all-time players and I forgot him..Was a TE when we recruited him..He's more than honorable mention..2-3 super bowl rings
I'm amazed how a heisman winner is snubbed by a lot for G Hearst or Knowshon. Sinkwitch MUST be on it as with Trippi. Also is there no love for one of my personal DGD THOMAS DAVIS he was a truck. I also agree that NO QB in UGA history holds Tarks jock strap.
GO DAWGS !!!!!!!!
SIC 'EM WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF !!!!!!!!!!!
There are so many variables that go into picking an all time list, I will defer to anybody with an opinion on this one. I don't have the energy to hunt up all the old film and check all the records for the year, etc. I don't mind being lazy and looking at everybody's else' attempt at it. I would bet almost anybody has their favorites and could put holes, based on those favorites on anybody's list anyway. The one criteria we probably all under value though, is what that player meant to the team when he played. A player like Pollack, meant so much more for the team, than say, a A.J. Greener, who was a heck of a player, but in my opinion, no where the team player that Pollack was. There may have been physically more talented players than Pollack, but he is number one in being a team player, and playing with heart. Sometimes, as least in my opinion, once again, he meant more to the team, than a guy who had greater athletic talent, but was more me than team.
Davis is at a position with a few HOFers. Its kind of hard to compete with Hall of Fame.
