Getting excited for the next "30 for 30" on Bo. Imo, Bo was the best two sport athlete of all time. Tough choice between him and Primetime. Who you got?
Even if you call them even in football, I rate Bo far the better baseball player.
I agree. Bo was a far superior hitter to Deion and maybe a slightly better fielder as well. I would definitely give the baseball edge to Bo by a comfortable margin. The tough part for me was when we start talking football. Bo was certainly a dominant football player, but Deion is, imo, one of the top five most dominant defensive players to ever play the game. As i'm typing this I feel like Im wavering a little bit here.
Bo, Deion, Brian Jordan. In that order.

Deion is not even in the same class as far as baseball. Deion was an average baseball player, Bo was great. Deion was an amazing football player, as was Bo. As far as two sport goes, has to be Bo. Dominated in both sports.
I agree. Theres really no way to call those two even in Football. Like he said Bo was a great RB but Deion dominated and revelutionized the CB position as well as the return game. Even in his late 30`s he was a pick 6 and a kickoff returned to the house threat when he signed with washington and Baltimore. The guy was an absolute freak on the field. Wouldnt tackle a ragdoll but a freak none the less.
Granted Brown is arguably the most dominant football player of his era, but does being great at lacrosse carry the same weight as being great at baseball. Same reason I didn't include Herschel. Bobsledding, MMA, and lacrosse < major league baseball.
Good call with Jordan.
He's really good at snowboarding, skateboarding and surfing.
What about Charlie Ward? Cant put him over either of the top two, but pretty impressive nonetheless. Heisman Trophy and MNC, long NBA career, was drafted by the Brewers, and apparently a pretty solid tennis player too.
Yep. He brings to mind John Lucas (basketball and tennis) and Dave Winfield (1st rd draft choice in baseball, basketball, and football, iirc), too.

there were times prime would play for the falcons and braves the same day. bo didn't really do it like that. sanders also did it a lot longer and is the best cb ever. plus he played for the home team. got to give him the edge.
