Hey Guys what do you think about going after a more Mobile QB , I saw the success Johnny Football , Scam Newton, and others like him have had , what do you think about it, their is one in Marietta ,6:6 210 with a rifle for an arm ,kid can scramble like crazy, very elusive ,Class of 14, Dont know his name , should we pursue him ,what do you think
Art Schlichter's cellmates and Mo Clarett's rugby team believe Ohio State always does things honestly.....
We run a pro style offense, and unless that changes you want first and foremost a guy that can throw and can THINK. Murray is plenty "mobile" but they (Bobo) have him disciplined to be a pro style QB and take off only as a last resort. Personally, I like our offense and I think it helps us recruit. We have some great running backs and potentially more coming in. I'm happy watching them run the ball. I think we lose two players off the offense this year (starters). Our O could be something to behold next year. Also, consider the competition of these spread style offense (thinking in particular of Oregon). We're scoring, and scoring often, against the best defenses in the country (SC obvious "blip").
We're recruiting fine at QB.
Murray and Stafford are more than mobile enough.
I think Murray has been coached to "get down" some to avoid turnovers and allow us to win on field position and defense. But when his vision allows him to see a seem, he can step up or out and make plays happen.
We have Lemay at QB.
Yep. Ugly QB play but we won. They had a hell uv'a D, though. Got some nasty business the next two weeks then Bama. Maybe we're peaking at the right time this year.
"We just stepped on their face with a hobnailed boot and broke their nose! We just crushed their face!”
Yeah, and he's behind Parker Welch on the Depth Chart. He just isn't understanding the playbook. He probably will never start at UGA.
