Well, so much for internal punishment. The conference is sending the wrong message and the guilty party says he's not guilty. Since he said it publicly, the message from the SEC certainly got across. (Sarcasm there...)
Don't understand how u can call it a clean hit after the head of officials says it wasn't. Bammers
Well, the block was done in full view of an on-the-field official, who did not throw a flag. Please explain the no-call for this "Bammer's" benefit. Thanks in advance and Roll Tide.
'Alabama defensive lineman Quinton Dial should have been penalized in the SEC Championship Game for his hit on Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray, SEC coordinator of officials Steve Shaw said today...

Whether Dial gets suspended for BCS Championship Game is up to SEC Commissioner Mike Slive, who has sat 2 players this season.

In his SECCG post game interview, Aaron Murray said, "Oh, I just got knocked the wind out of me. It had nothing to do with my head," when asked by a reporter about Dial's block.
I don't understand the point you are trying to make here. Not everyone is going to get hurt on an illegal helmet-to-helmet hit like the one that Quinton Dial performed in the SECCG.
One might argue that when you get knocked on your rear by a blow that starts to your head... and you complain that the wind got knocked out of you, you may have a memory issue already.
