what do you think of the high school coaches in Georgia vs Alabama? There appears to be a blind loyalty that supersedes everything in Bama, but it seems GA high school coaches half the time are bending over backward to steer students away from UGA. Bama coaches have no problem with the sign and cut approach, while Georgia coaches freak out if their guys don't get a commitable offer within a day of their junior year it seems.
I don't think it's high school coaches as much as just the culture in Alabama. People there are just extremely passionate about their two colleges. It's not like that in Georgia. Lot of different influences.

Many of the hs coaches in Georgia have moved into the state from Alabama, Florida and many other states just like most of the population in the metro Atlanta area and other areas. I suppose in Alabama, even if you went to Troy, N Alabama, Jacksonville State, whatever, you still have the local pressure to support UA and the other crowd. Apparently, the coaches who played at UGA or graduated from UGA are an ever decreasing minority.
