Trevor Matich (who I generally dislike) just said that he thinks "Georgia actually has more NFL caliber talent, especially on defense [than Alabama]."
Also agreed with both Herbstreit and Palmer that if you're Notre Dame, you're pulling for Alabama because the Irish would not match up with us as well as they would with Alabama.
Just checked - I'm awake.
A couple of writers from sports illustrated picked uga on the radio this morning and then proceeded to make fun of Espn for acting like Bama was already in the title game
Collin Cowherd has been pro UGA all week. Said that Murray is by far the best QB bama has seen all year.
We're Mark Schlabach's upset of the week as well (of course, he's a UGA guy)
McShay on right now talking about McCarron and Murray.
EDIT: Scratch that, I guess only McCarron was worth talking about.

Wasn't Matich on the BYU team with Steve Young that came to Athens and lost in 1981 or 1982?
The game was decided ultimately by a fumble on a 4th and short where one of our players handed the ball forward to another one of our players and got us the 1st down.
We went on to kick a FG I think and won the game.
Art Schlichter's cellmates and Mo Clarett's rugby team believe Ohio State always does things honestly.....
QB handed forward to Herschel. Butler kicked ~44yd FG through rain to win. (All this "to the best of my recollection," 30 yrs after attending the game.)

Matich was on the team
I also seem to recall 4 interceptions of Steve Young. There were several of UCLA's QB (Neuheisel?) the previous game (Monday?) as well. In that one, a guy with whom I went to middle school and high school, Charlie Dean, had a pick-6 (~85 yds) to ice the game. (Or was the BYU game right after the Herschel-comeback-from-broken-thumb-game against Clemson?)
