We are 2nd in the nation in yards per play at 7.98. Only Florida State is ahead of us with 8.10 per play.

And looking at Florida State's schedule. I would circle the Maryland and Duke games as potential trip-ups. Both teams actually have a semblance of a defense. Maryland did hold WVU to 31 pts. Both teams probably don't have the offense, but we can hope. (Of course, Florida is the biggest one to circle)
But we're the ones getting hammered for our so-called weak schedule. I've yet to hear any of the pundits criticize Florida st for their schedule.
I don't think it looks so weak now....USC is legit and UF and UT are worlds better than they were last year. Mizzou is dangerous as well.
I honestly think the East is better and deeper than the west, but we just don't have Bama in the East and they're still a head above everyone else in CFB.
I don't think they're that much better than everyone else. I really think we could beat them.
