You know going into this game everyone welcomed Mizz and made them feel at home in the Sec.
however, now that the game has been played, they have started the whining. they say washington faked a cramp to slow them down. played dirty by tearning off franklins helmet etc. even the coach is into it. what started off as a good friendly new addition to the sec has turned into a bunch of whiners. this much complaining after one sec game lends itself to a long year for the tigers. they won't get treated any better by tenn, fla, uscjr etc on the field. they actually think the best team lost. just my observation.
You might be right. But on the internet, you're going find all types of fans. I think that they have a very solid base with very solid expectations of their program (but not unreasonable ones).
I think they have a solid team. But I'm starting to wonder if I underestimated how well they would hold up to the physical conference play. They had a lot of good players go down to injury, and I know some aren't returning any time soon.
Life's tough, but it is tougher if you're stupid.
I just think the whining is often part and parcel of losing, and that goes for any conference. It's easy to see cheating when and wherever, if that's what you're searching for. I know of some other damn good dawgs who keep stats on how the team fares with the various referee crews. The thought is that some crews have it out for Georgia and want to see them lose. Others swear up and down that ESPN has an anti-Georgia bias. And there were most certainly some other DGDs whining about the illegitimacy of Cam Newton. My point is that I think the Mizzou fans' whining actually squares pretty well with our modus operandi as a conference.
Do you have a link to all of this?
Here's the article - it's linked in Gentry's story.
They do seem kind of whiny about it all.
"HOW BOUT THEM DAWGS"
Well they did get a 1st down on the play with Franklin out in the 4th.... Lame, lame , lame. They are in for a long season of SEC ball.
