based on some things I do know;
I am an unabashed CMR supporter. Some my opinion:
IF we lose and/or get embarrassed by UF (I will be at the game) I think CMR is gone. There have been some questions about our AD’s resolve. GM will make hard decisions. Some may ask, well if we win “10” how can we let a coach go w/back to back 10 win seasons? The answer -GM our AD has higher standards. Competing for the SEC means winning the east. If the loss to SCar was tight and went down to the wire then we had a loss that went down to the wire with the Gayturds, and won 10 that’s different.
Right now I have no reason to believe our defense will stone the Gayturds run game.
Celebrating after making a mundane play or talking smack when you haven’t done a thing all night then getting PF’s when it matters is a sign of a defense that has read its press clippings too much and think that rolling your helmets on the field will get results.
I am NOT advocating the release of this staff, BUT I am saying if we get embarrassed in JAX this coming weekend, CMR is a goner. JMO.
We don't need a big ego coach, there are plenty of down to earth , humble , good coaches out there. If we lose to UF that means we lose both of the two big games we played this year. Lets face it, the rest of our schedule is laughable and dont compare to us in talent or prestige. How long can our AD continue to ignore the fans and continue to pursue their own non-competitive agenda? Richt hasnt done a great job of keeping us out of the news either. Hes a christian guy and respected as a man, but as a football coach hes pretty much laughed at by our peers in the SEC.
