Richmond. How about you man?
Dawgs,Dawgs,Dawgs,Parkview Panthers,Georgia Southern,Falcons (used to be), Cowboys( born in Texas, been in Georgia 46 years!
I'm from Springfield up in Fairfax County. My sister and her boyfriend just graduated from Virgjnia Tech and moved to Richmond though. You a student now?
God needs a Safety on His team. RIP 21
Haha no, I wish! Lol, I graduated from UGA in 2009. I live and work in Atlanta now.
That's awesome man. I know I won't be ready to leave when the time comes.
Moved to north Ga when I was 4. Became a dogs fan in the late 90s as a teen. Lost interest in baseball and i hate the business decisions made the last decade regarding the hawks and falcons. So I pull only for my guys in Athens.
Born in Smyrna, moved to Germany for 5 years, and now I'm back in Gwinnett County.
Gotta go with all the Atlanta teams (minus the resident downtown nerds), and above all, the DAWGS.
I'm nothing but hometown (Dawgs, Braves, Falcons, Hawks).
Used to be a huge Flames, Knights, and Thrashers fan.
During the '90s (between the Flames and Thrashers) I grew an affinity for the NJ Devils.
I hadn't yet, but I'm probably going to jump on that bandwagon again.
My grandfather is a Husker. So in addition to growing up loving the Dawgs, I have an affinity for Nebraska as well. My grandfather hated the Dawgs, but I loved him anyway ;) Blood runs thick.
Boxing: I like Pac Man. Loved Holyfield. I never missed an Arturo Gatti fight (RIP).

Huge hockey fan here, only thing I enjoy more than hockey is college football. I am a gigantic Capitals fan but I was disappointed the Thrashers couldn't be successful in ATL.
Atlanta is cursed.
We've been cursed by ownership twice (Cousins had to sell the Flames to cover Real Estate losses. And the Atlanta Spirit should have been televised alongside Real Housewives episodes.)
Fortunately, it's still not too far of a drive to see the Predators, Hurricanes, or Lightning. And I've flown into Chicago just to catch some games before. it's actually easier to see playoff hockey when you don't just wait for it to come to Atlanta.
I was at two playoff games this year, both in Washington against the Blue Sweaters. I hate the Rangers so I was pumped. The only place more electric than The Verizon Center during those games was Sanford during the blackout game
born and raised in Cali but am a UGA and Dallas Cowboys fan. All the other sports I stay local...Dodgers, Lakers, Kings. I never really cared about the Rams and Raiders when they were in Socal, and I can't get into the Chargers like everyone else here.
Why do you cheer for the Dawgs?
Dawgs, Braves, Falcons, Hawks, East Coweta Indians! I love the Dawgs more then any other team. I like the Green Bay Packers and Buffalo Bills after the Falcons. Im not a huge fan of the Hawks ... I root for them but they are never any good and it gets old rooting for a team you know is never going to win a championship.

NCAA - UGA
NFL - Atlanta
MLB - Atlanta
NBA - Atlanta
H.S. - Haralson County Rebels
My dad's from Columbus, and I guess I inherited it.
Blessed to have grown up in Athens and now live in Birmingham due to work.
College - UGA, second choice Div.III Millsaps Majors (my one and only will play baseball for them this year)
MLB - Cardinals/Braves
NFL - Falcons
NBA - Hawks/apathy
H.S. - Sorry furrier and Navybulldawg CCHS gave cheap shots its definition in the mid-70s - Go Jags!
ATB & DTH, RTR
Being a Rangers fan, that series must have sucked for you. We finally got revenge.
To add to the topic, I was born in Jersey. Moved to Gainesville, GA before high school (classmate of Damon) and lived in Georgia for most of my life now. (Best state in the union)
I was, and still am, a NY sports fan. Where I lived, you either were Philly fans or NY fans and the Philly fans were just complete douches so it was easy to gravitate to the NY teams. I loved UGA and Michigan growing up though. This was before Herschel came to UGA. Michigan for the helmets, UGA for some unknown reason at the time.
When I moved down here, I "adopted" the local pro teams but still kept my allegiances. I am a huge Giants fan going back to the Pisarcik fumble. I also liked the Steelers and Dolphins back then. I am a Knicks fan and a Rangers fan. Like the Jets too but follow the Giants more. I used to be a huge Yankees fan but not as much as the Braves now. I liked the Mets back in the 80s just cause I met some of them like Gooden. Now, don't really care for the Mets.
NFL: Giants, Falcons, Steelers, Dolphins, Lions
MLB: Braves, Yankees (part timer)'
NBA: Knicks, Hawks.
College: UGA, MIchigan
Soccer: Chelsea, AJAX, AC Milan
I lived in Detroit for a little over a year so I also have root for them at times. They always reminded me of the Falcons due to ownership debacles. Now, with Stafford, it's easier to root for them.
On the opposite side, it's very easy for me to point to the teams I hate.
NFL: Cowboys, 49ers, Pats
MLB: Cardinals, Dodgers
NHL: Devils, Philly, Montreal
College: Florida, Notre Dame, Tennessee
Soccer: ManU, Real Madrid
Those teams I hate just as much as the teams I love.
