First of all, I am thankful for Dawgs247, this community on the Junkyard, the ability to work with a freaking machine like Gentry and to be a part of 247Sports.
Hope you guys and gals have a wonderful holiday and safe travels
I want to see some pics of some good food!
I'm thankful I made the right decision by joining this site. Rusty, you and Gentry provide such great stuff and all the members really make this a fun place to talk Georgia football. Happy Thanksgiving everyone and Wreck Tech!

Well I am deep frying my turkeys and will post some pics when they come out. Love my turkey fried and injected with creole butter marinade.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Go Dawgs sic'em!! Wreck Tech!
ready to see those
I need to go that route one year
Real simple 325 - 350 degree peanut oil for 3-1/2 minutes per pound. Just make sure it is thawed and dry when you put it in. That's how fires start when the moisture flashes off and people panic and drop the turkey spilling the oil.
It's also nice when you can cook in shorts because it's going to be in the 70's here.

Smoked Bird off the Big Green Egg.
Did it last year, and it turned out well. Definitely use peanut oil or something that imparts flavor, though, as you lose the ability to do much seasoning. Btw, the chickens look incredible!
Going to a friend's house this year so all I have to do I show up with more beer than I'm going to drink. Harder than it sounds.
Happy thanksgiving, men!
Happy Thanksgiving and God bless us all.

Thankful to be be able to talk UGA football on here and spend time with my family in a free country that is provided by my fellow service members standing in the gap overseas today. Enjoy your families and good food. Say a prayer for those who are missing this. Let's Go Dawgs!!
If you are frying a turkey, I recommend turning off the burner while you drop it in. Then fire it back up.
Had my first fried turkey last year. It was amazing. Definitely want to attempt frying one next year I think.
Here is my 2nd one.
The kids destroyed the skin on the 1st one before I could take photo.
