CMR is gonna play the tb's who don't put the ball on the groud
Why are my comments foolish? Seems to me that you are the only person that commented that believes Samuel should be the starter. Whatever man. Just my opinion that he isn't our best option at tailback, as most tend to agree.
If the coaching staff believed that Richard Samuel gives us the best chance to win then why did they move him to fullback? Even if Crowell was still with the team from your comments you believe Richard would at worst 2nd string. I do trust our coaches and putting the best players at each position but if Samuel was our 2nd best option he would have never been moved to fullback in the 1st place. you should take your own advice and trust the coaches.
and no i don't want to rely on freshman. that's why ken malcome will be the starter
What about a slightly different approach - like maybe design an H-back position (ala Chris Cooley). It seems to me we may be thin at FB (although Q. Hicks certainly looks the part) and slightly thin at TE. If that's the case, why not make a hybrid position to utilize all of the skills and talents RS has to offer? He's big, strong, catches out of the backfield pretty well and hits like a Mack truck at the point of impact when blocking. He'd be perfect to swing out of the backfield on flat routes or up the middle on seam routes. I wish him all the luck in the world - he's a DGD that had the misfortune of being pulled here and there and everywhere - and I think he has earned the right to play somewhere. Even if that somewhere is a new position for this offense. ~~my 2 cents~~
