Stephon Diggs and DGB recently deciding to stick with the home school, both of which are average today, is a trend I like. Kids should go to the school they liked growing up and try to make them better vs going to a program that is already on top and just be one of many stars. Now if we can get the GA stars to buy in to that philosophy we will win some major championships!
I agree. We have to get the Georgia kids to want to stay and play in Georgia.
I could not agree more. I hope it is the start of a great trend for us in next years class. I certainly like our chances looking ahead at this point. Go Dawgs!
Not sure where i heard this quote but it seems to apply to these guys. "I want to create my own legacy, not loan one."
After this 2012 season, UGA could possibly face one of the worst depletions of starting players in many years, particularly on defense; a large senior class and many who would be NFL draft eligible should they decide to leave early.
Fortunately the State of Georgia will have a huge 2013 class of quality recruits available to help fill the potential void in so many of these critical positions-of-need.
All we have to do now is go out and sell UGA to these recruits; an effort that Coach Richt and our recruiting staff is well on their way to do!
Keep it up coaches and those UGA commits who are working on their fellow in-state players to commit to Georgia as well!

I agree but to expect these members of the 2013 class to step in an be major contributors right out of high school is not something i could see happening. Will they be able to possibly contribute after their freshman year or in spot substitution? Yes I can see that. I would really hate to start a season with a number of freshman as starters. This is why it is important to get as many recruits each year as possible. If not we end up being short handed down the road. Hopefully everything will work out for the best. Go Dawgs!
Not saying they will be starters, bulldog86_63.
Just that they will be among those already on roster that will help us be able to add depth and possibly mix in with the starting rotation for those positions-of-need left void after this 2012 season.
Without a good quality recruiting class, that wouldn't even be a feasibility.
I just like the way our recruiting staff is getting an early start to recruiting our most critical positions-of-need voids and are not waiting so late in the recruiting year to do so.
Good point though.
I agree completely.
