I hate to start another thread on this, but I want everyone to think about something in a different perspective.
What if, going into Wednesday, we still didn't have Matthews, Ramsey, Terry, Green, Kimbrough and Kublanow signed? So all of these guys were still looking. Then we missed on the other targets but landed these guys. Would we all feel better because "we closed" on NSD? Would we feel better not knowing until NSD?
I think our coaches "closed" incredibly well with almost all of our major areas of need! They just did it a month early. Tunsil was the biggest miss. These others were just gonna be bonuses. And I love that they are still hammering down trying to fill these spots. So the next time one of you downers wants to poke fun of our coaches by calling them closers, I think they closed just fine. Hopefully next year, we will get a few more five stars and game changers but we have a solid class. Sorry to post same stuff, different thread, but had to get that off my chest!!! Go dawgs and here's looking forward to Thursday.
Yes we got some quality guys that will be Dawgs. We have a few that will start and play as true freshman. In the SEC that is almost unheard of. How awesome is that!
I am ready for spring practice .......................then the fall. GO Dawgs! Thanks Huntinfool.

I have to agree that UGA is building a very good class. I think the main issue that many UGA fans have is that they are letting too many elite prospects leave the state for other schools. If UGA could land 3-5 more of those players imagine how amazing the classes could be. As of right now it looks like many of the top 247 from Ga are not going to be playing their college ball at UGA or Ga Tech. Bottom line is UGA needs an elite recruiting staff and they would be almost unstoppable.
