I was born in 84 and can vividly recall Dawgs games from around 89 and on. I can't think of a game that comes even close to this in terms of heartbreaking. The only game that stands out to me as anywhere near this was 1993 when Zeier led us down to the goaline and almost beat a top ranked Florida team. '99 on the flats was more of a pissed of feeling than heartbreaking. This game took it to a whole new level. Incredible game though, and our guys were just as good as theirs. Thats whats sad, we won't get the credit we deserve from this game, but i think we all know, including Nick Saban, that this game was as close as it gets and we deserved to win it as much as they did. Anybody got any heartbreakers over the years that come close?

Born in 1992 so I haven't seen as many as a lot of you, I can only remember from about the 1999 season on. Last night is 1B on my list of worst losses. 1A is 2002 Florida. Others:
1999, 2000, 2008 Tech
2005, 2010 Florida
2001, 2005, 2010 Auburn
2004, 2006 Tennessee
2003 (game 1) LSU, 2009 LSU
2005 West Virginia
2011, 2012 South Carolina
2010 Miss St
Wow 2010 was rough.
Yu weren't around to see the Penn St. loss for the NC. Lastinger had Clarence Kay wide open in the end zone and threw the ball into the stands. Dooley kept running Herschel into the middle at the goal line when PS had about 14 playerws in the box. The 4 point loss still hurts me.
This one is reallllly hard. Going to.be a hard offseason
