the question about leaving early. It'll be a major mistake for him if he does it but it really sounds like he's considering it. He really brushed her "fans want one more year" remark off. Hope he comes back.

I've heard that many players feel he's gone
I don't see where it's a major mistake. His situation, I'd come back, but there are arguments for both sides. A real weak QB class this year.
When I watch NFL games and see guys like Ryan out there, I just don't see Murray being ready for that. I think with another year he could put himself in a good position but lack of size and the tendency to play tight is something he needs to really work on.
I've heard differently. I've also read that he knows the advantage of finishing his doctrine. PHD has quite a ring to it.
In my opinion, he's probably gonna be drafted 2-4th round at best regardless of when he leaves. No matter what the stats and intangibles are, the height is an issue. So if I'm him, then I get all the schooling I can and then have a go at the draft next year

I would like to finish my doctrine as well, but I think you meant doctorate...
Anyway, I think he is the guy that would be better off being signed by al already good team that can bring him along slowly for a year or two. However, the height issue with short to medium range passes across the middle will always be a problem. Can't change that though. Hope he comes back because UGA is going to need the offense firing on all cylinders with that Sept schedule. The new D likely won't be quite ready for lift off.
His size won't really change and there will never be a weaker QB class.
I'm starting to get nervous.
You don't go replacing that much experience and come out smelling great on the other side.
I understand your sentiment. But "mental reps" don't mean anything to me with regards to our backups when they have to line up against Clowney, LSU, and Clemson.
I agree with this. He's probably a 2nd round QB no matter when he goes.
It's not a matter of draft stock. It's a matter of what's important to him and the family.
If it's money (and there's nothing wrong with that), he leaves. Because he won't make back what he gives up by returning.
If it's glory... the kid needs to stay. Because he's in one of those "once in a thousand lifetime" positions at UGA. All Time SEC TD leader. Chance to go to a third SEC Championship Game and to win it as maybe the best player on the field. Chance to go to the last BCS Championship game in it's current format. Chance to go to NY for a Heisman ceremony.
If Murray leaves there is NO WAY we are as good on offense. NO WAY
You can complain about Murray ad nauseum but Mason playing instead of Murray will be a drop off big time.
Art Schlichter's cellmates and Mo Clarett's rugby team believe Ohio State always does things honestly.....
Murray has a chance to come back and be the man. THE man. I dont see him passing that up.
Ouch......yeah that's what I meant.. Had a brain fart!
