This doesnt give me good vibes at all no matter how unlikely

No way this happens
Blank is using that to get the stadium deal. Jacksonville will be the team that moves there. There is no way Blank moves to Calf and lose 62 cents of every dollar he makes.
I know that, its just not a goid thing that blank said that to get his new stadium pushed through. Thats basically what this boils down to, how bad does atlanta want the falcons and a new stadium to house them?
Also I think Blank said a few weeks ago he wouldn't move the team even if he didn't get a new stadium.
Blank made his money in Atlanta..Bernie Marcus, his partner, gave us the Aquarium..
No way Blank wants his legacy to be that of Art Modell in Cleveland.
This is part of the script handed down from Goodell. Blank has no interest in it.
1) LA doesn't want any team. They want their team (Rams or Raiders) back.
2) The NFL doesn't want a team in LA. They want LA vacant so that they can use this ploy for all 32 NFL cities over and over and over again.
3) Blank's interests are in Atlanta. He would burn every bridge he built if he moved the team.
Blank is reluctantly doing what Goodell is telling him to in order to help the deal. If he fails in Atlanta and the team doesn't move, then that strengthens the resolve in every other city to refuse the bullying from the NFL.
No worries... 0% chance of happening
this is all about the stadium
At what point does Goodell dangle the Super Bowl as an incentive?
It's just a little scare tactic. Blank would never do it. His image would take to big of a hit and he is all about setting a good image.
It's always the incentive. It's the only way that Detroit and Indianapolis got the Super Bowl.
Unfortunately, it doesn't bring the economic windfall to offset the $300M taxpayer investment (the revenue is there... but not the profits after expenses).
fwiw, I love the concept of a retractable roof stadium.
I love the idea of locking up the SECCG for decades to come.
I love the idea of future Final 4's and other various championships continuing to Atlanta.
I hate the location.
I hate that they would blow up a Dome that isn't even paid for by the taxpayers, yet.
