With two starters departing ahead of him, Georgia safety Corey Moore will now receive more attention and responsibility. He says he's eager and ready for the challenge.

“But Todd, he’s like Keith, J.J. and Brendan but built into one. And that’s just not normal.” - Arthur Lynch
Nice article G,
We really need moore to bust his tail this offseason to be prepared for the game in death valley. Hope he can see the opportunity he has and takes advantage of it. Same goes for matthews, we need him to beat out norman by the time we get on the buses to clem$on
Great to hear that Moore is ready to step up and become the player that I thought he would be when he got on campus. I watched a lot of the games and I know that Connor Norman is not the answer. He was awful every time he entered the game. UGA is going to need big plays out of the secondary from the first snap in the spring, but it all starts now in the weightroom and the film room.
Dawgs on Top!
I really think Corey will be great. And continue the UGA safety tradition. But just to be picky- I hate this quote- “I’m going to start approaching things differently now,”. Should have been approaching things aggressively all along. But I get the sense of urgency, and starting spots opening up. Good that the game is "slowing down". And this guy is now a leader, and will surely be playing next to a freshman. I think Corey is going to knock some heads off in Death Valley in just a few months!
If you have watched film of Fluker he looks like he can play right away. Matthews has a great attitude and he will have the play book learned this spring. He really wants to play starting next year. Corey Moore has the ability and I hope he takes a leadership role with these young recruits. Our defense can actually be better next year if these young guys step up.
I really dont know what to think of Corey Moore. I know physically he got good height ,speed and stength . I just dont know mentally. I would love to see him in action
We need some leadership back there. I hope he steps up this offseason.
I like hearing that Corey Moore is known for laying the wood.
Grantham's scheme needs a lot of help from the SS in run support.
Shawn Williams was the leading tackler on the team when we were doing a much more solid job up the middle stuffing the run.
I also think we may be in for a pleasant surprise from Connor Norman.
No safety is perfect. And that's not what I'm predicting for him this upcoming season.
However, he has had some live bullets and film to review with the coaches to improve his recognition.
And fundamentally, the kid is sound.
It's one thing to know the play book. It's another thing to see it and play it at SEC speed and recognition without catching yourself anticipating and out of position.
