Defensive End; critically thin at this position or irrelevent?

  • Because we play a 3-4 technique, does it really matter? Somewhat concerned that many good ones available or already locked up to other teams.

    I think we missed a great chance @ two who would have been awesome............Kelsey Griffin, who tried to commit was a DT in HS but would have been an awesome end, I read somewhere where he ran like 4.74/40, also he was close to 300lbs, the other was Antonio Riles, worst thing here is both are going to Eastern Divison team Griffin to South Carolina and Riles to Florida, Gardner really screwed us on the D-line, especially if we don't land both M. Adams and T. Johnson, why in the world would you ever turn down a commitment for Kelsy Griffin????????? Makes no sense..............and him and Riles will be a pain in our rear for the next 3 to 4 years

    Griffin isn't getting into school.

    Riles is undersized for the 3-4. It will take several years for him to add the size, but I'd much rather have us go all in for Johnson and Adams than have taken Riles and told one of those two we weren't interested.
