Fit or not it does not matter. They can back count three. They can only have 28 sign on Feb 1, so they have 2 more.

I am not saying you are wrong but I thought they had to be an EE to count backwards. I know that Dillon Lee is an EE but do they have 2 more. But as said in other post they will always be able to fit them in because someone is going to get cut and loose a scholarship for some crazy reason

Bet it ain't the 4 - 5 stars unless there is one coming in to take their place and is better.

Does Alabama not redshirt kids?

If you don't redshirt anyone and have 0 attrition, then you can sign 21.25 kids every class and still have room under the 85.
If you throw in a redshirt class (and with 0 attrition), then the magic number is down to 17 kids per class (85/5).

Does Bama lose 10-11 underclassmen a year? If they redshirt kids, It would seem that it has to be that way for the 85 scholarship numbers to work.

It will be interesting to see how it works out and if that gets enforced and if it is not what are the consequences?
